  • At The Study, we offer talk therapy which is grounded in the person-centred approach.

    Alongside this foundation, we also draw on psychodynamic theory and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to support your unique needs.

    In addition to individual therapy, we provide Therapeutic Coaching and Couples Therapy.

  • The Study is set between rolling fields in picturesque rural countryside on the outskirts of Colchester. There is ample parking for anyone arriving from Chelmsford, Ipswich, or beyond.

    We also offer Zoom and telephone sessions for anyone who lives further afield.

  • We have experience supporting neurodivergent clients, as well as those living with anxiety and the impact of past trauma. We’ve worked alongside clients navigating depression, loss, relationship difficulties, financial trauma, and health challenges.

    In our practice, we’ve spent time with people who feel stuck, angry, or disconnected from themselves. We understand that human beings are complex and that everyone’s experience is unique.

    Because of this, our work together will always be dynamic, flexible, and responsive to your individual needs.

  • Individual therapy - £50 (50 min)

    Couples therapy - £75 (75 min)

    Please do get in touch if you are on a low income as we have a limited amount of spaces available at minimal cost. We strongly believe that therapy should be accessible to all and will endeavour to accommodate all enquiries.
